Promi-Nature have partnered with WasteAid, an organisation who aim to change the lives of communities who live with the dangers of harmful waste. WasteAid take a ‘thinking global, acting local’ approach to tackle waste, working alongside communities and policy makers to introduce waste management and recycling programmes. They equip individuals and communities with the power to use waste to their advantage, as a resource that can be harnessed to reduce poverty and create a healthier environment for everyone.

MAKE AN IMPACT?
Introducing our Second-Life Bag!
In support of WasteAid, Promi-Nature have created a natural cotton shopper, made from waste that otherwise wouldn’t have made it out of the factory. Bags that have been classified as a spoil, are cut in half, two plain sides are then sewn together, creating a new Second-Life Bag. The printed halves are recycled into sound
proofing material, so nothing is wasted.
£1 from the sale of each bag will be donated to WasteAid
(Charity Registered in England & Wales, registration number 1160263)
Cotton and textile waste is a prominent issue, with
1.92 million tonnes of textile waste produced every
year, 24% of which is cotton.

Therefore, we are working to give cotton totes,
that would have otherwise gone to landfill,
a second life.
For each Second-Life Bag sold, £1 will be donated
to WasteAid, so they can continue to help communities.
And it doesn’t stop there… For every 100 bags sold we will
plant a tree in our Promi-Nature Grove, helping to restore
the Caledonian forest.
